Educational team
of the photography department
A team of passionate and
high-qualified teachers
More than just a school of photography, ETPA is also and above all a human adventure led by its students but also its educational team.
Some of our teachers and members of the educational staff are former students themselves and have a rich professional experience behind them, which they are eager to communicate, pass on and share.
The great majority of them have an active professional activity in parallel with the courses they give to students: they are professionals who are familiar with the latest trends and working methods.

Photo shooting teacher
Toulouse
Laurent Gineste
In an obvious but genuine way, the most interesting thing in the transmission of experience or knowledge is the exchange and listening. The relevance of the work undertaken and the involvement in its realization often depends on the quality of this exchange. In this subtle game between a sometimes castrating technique and a badly assumed creativity, the didactic mode necessary at the beginning of the training evolves towards production, experimentation, confrontation with reality and its own limits.

Photo shooting teacher
Toulouse
Stéphane Redon
The teaching allows us to be in contact with the future actors of photography, to make them progress and to live in real time the evolution of each student. Our mission is to enable them to acquire the technical basis needed for an optimal use of the photographic tool, by covering the various major themes of photography.

Shooting
Toulouse
Rémi Carayon
I studied photography at ETPA, and won the Grand Prix in 2008. I then participated in several artists' residencies and worked as an architectural and corporate photographer. I then came back to ETPA to teach photography and digital color lab.

Technology & Sensitometry
Toulouse
Chantal Toumazet
This job quickly became a real passion. I can apply my scientific knowledge and pass it on to students. By applying the theory to many manipulations, it is easy for them to see the interest of this subject which allows them to better understand and master the shooting and image processing.

Black & White Lab
Toulouse
Patrick Dagras
As a professional in the analogue black & white laboratory, I love to pass on my passion for this art to my students, to help them discover 'this magic', to guide and advise them throughout the year, so that they acquire the necessary rigor and judgment to become autonomous.

Color Laboratory
Toulouse
Bruno Seigle
In 1984, Bruno Seigle began his career as a black & white printer. Everyday, he looks at other people's images for several laboratories. He has worked in Paris, Lyon and Toulouse, cities that allowed him to extend his skills to color. For him, "the laboratory is the last sensitive layer of the photographic image".

Equipment Technology
Toulouse
Stéphane Donnary
More than just a passion, photography has allowed me to meet many people who have enriched my knowledge and know-how throughout my career as a photographer. Now, it is my turn to transmit this knowledge and expertise through a discipline that allows me to build a connection between theory and practice in photography.

History of photography
Toulouse
Dominique Roux
Dominique Roux has worked for 35 years as the head of the Documentation Center of the Galerie du Château d'eau in Toulouse, which he created in 1982 together with Jean Dieuzaide. Today, he teaches the History of photography at Mirail University and ETPA. He is also a visual photographer and regularly exhibits his work in France and abroad.

English teacher
Toulouse
Christopher Rudis
English is an indispensable communication tool for students to share their work and passions beyond the French-speaking parts of the world. My goal is for each student to develop and improve his / her communication skills in English to the fullest extent of his / her abilities.

Photo shooting teacher
Toulouse
Laurent Moynat
Graduated from ETPA's BTS in Photography, the desire to share my passion for photography has always been obvious. My greatest satisfaction is to pass on the torch of passion for images and beautiful photographic stories to each of my students.

DTP Teacher
Toulouse
Alain Mazza
His goal is to transmit his students all the technical and aesthetic know-how, and allow them to acquire a solid mastery of computer tools, essential in today's photography. After training in graphic arts at Corvisart and Estienne, he refined his professional experience in advertising agencies and in the press world. He is then recruited at ETPA where he teaches digital image processing, photo retouching and editing in the photography section.

Image processing & Laboratory
Toulouse
Franck Galy
As a student in BTS Photography, I was able to acquire the technical knowledge of the profession and also to become familiar with the professional environment through training and various internships. [...] Strengthened by this professional experience, I came back to ETPA as a teacher, in the field of printing and digital post-production, and thus transmit my knowledge to my students, so that they have the tools to express themselves through photography.
